What is a 'Healing Tattoo'?
Tattoos on their own hold no special healing power, other than in the eye of the beholder. We are working on a trauma site, though, so triggers are common and must be handled responsibly.

The body knows what its been through, and when you begin to tattoo the same area, those old memories may come back up.

If your tattoo artist does not have knowledge with handling trauma, that new tattoo itself could be a trauma trigger. Make sure you see a heARTist so you know you are in good hands!
